Asher’s trip to DC/Boston: day 5

Today was a very Boston day! We walked the Freedom Trail from Boston Commons through Boston and over to Charlestown. By coincidence it was the 249th anniversary of the battle of Bunker Hill, and a parade honoring it that went right up the street where my freshman roommate lives. So we spent the day at his house, saw the parade, walked up to the monument, and then walked back to Cambridge.

Boston Commons – trail start
State capitol building
Site of the Boston massacre
On the USS Constituition
At Danny’s house before the parade
