The adventures of Asher, Max, Kara, and Brian
We took a night boat ride down the river (with candles that you wish on and then place in the water), had some great food in the night market, and enjoyed our hotel’s pool!

We did a fun cooking class where we shopped at the market and then made Lemongrass Chicken, Bun Cha, and Beef in Pepper Sauce.

Hoi An is the City of lanterns. We toured the Ancient Town, rode on basket boats, had massages, learned their organic gardening, biked through rice fields, had some clothes made, took a cooking class, and had fun exploring!

We traveled a few hours out of Hanoi to cruise Ha Long Bay for 2 days and stay overnight on a boat. The kids made friends with a Lebanese family living in Hong Kong. We did some kayaking, a cave hike, squid fishing, and a mini cooking class. And we said goodbye to our guide, Katrina who we loved.

We ventured into the nearby Ninh Binh area to do some hiking, see some mountain pagodas, bike around, and explore some caves via water. #boatsbikeshikes

Great day in Hanoi, lots of good eating including bun cha and capped by a night street food tour and massage! Kids are doing great, trying lots of new things, and are totally comfortable everywhere they go! #citykids #freshfoodisgood
