Asher did his third pre-camp play date today at a friends country club! Max and Asher both fell asleep on the way home and max had chocolate taco 🌮 all over his face !

Birthday overnight hiking trip
Max's best friend Gates had an overnight camping birthday party. The kids and dads hiked for about a mile and set up camp in the Cascades. Max loved the special time with his friends and daddy.
Magical summer 🌊 🦅 🔥
After swim practice yesterday Asher and I got invited to stay and have Shabbat with several families by the beach. Everyone brought food and wine and the kids swam in the lake and caught tiny fish in cups off the docks. We roasted s'mores as bald eagles soared above us and Asher got tons of wrestling in! Finally Asher had a slumber party with mom, but we didn't get to bed until 10 as the sun was finally setting. Perfect Asher and mom evening!!! Love summer!!!! ❤️ 😘
Share shoes 👟?
I bought Asher shower flip-flops for camp and noticed that they look like they would fit my feet, so I tried them on… Looks like we will be sharing shoes soon (and he is only 7)!
Field day
Max and I hung out at Asher's field day for a bit today. Saw Asher blow bubbles, build structures out of hula hoops, and do several water activities. Meanwhile Max found some cute older girls to push him in a swing! Asher's class color was gold.
Post farmers market face
Just walked home after a beautiful evening at our neighborhood market. Asher and max had Russian crepes and gourmet popsicles and saw so many friends. And max found some great sticks.

Mischievous Max strikes again 🌩
Max constantly runs around our house with a screwdriver taking things apart, installing new batteries and figuring out different things that could go together. Today I found my phone plugged into the Cable box somehow. We keep the remote controls hidden from him, so he decided that my phone could control the TV and he could figure out how to do it. This is after already discovering that all the remote controls in the house work for the same TV. He had been taking Bubbe and Zadie's remote control from their apartment before they grew wise to it and started hiding it as well.
Max has to be watched at all times! Today Bubbe was making a sandwich for herself and she turned around and it was gone. She couldn't figure out where she put it. Of course after searching the whole kitchen she found max in a different room and under a table busily munching on her sandwich!!
He is mischievous, smart and fast – a dangerous combo!! He also has the best laugh and smile and oozes happiness, so it is almost impossible to get mad at him.
