Spent the morning in the hood eating donuts, riding bikes, and playing at the park.

Asher and Max got to press and juice lots of apples, bounce in a bouncy house and dance to some live Oompah music today. What a fun party!

Asher's friend Livy spent the night last night. They made pizzas, watched a movie, played games, and made and ate pancakes in the morning. Asher was a wonderful host to his friend and the sleepover was a success!

Max had a great day and was happy to go back to school. The morning was a bit crazy when he took the keys and got in the car without us knowing, but the rest of the day went smoothly!

After school Asher told me all about his day, wanted fresh fruit for a snack and then said he wanted to vacuum. Ummm…what is going on?!? Is this what happens in first grade?

Asher's second Day of first grade was a success! He said he felt much more "optimistic" (yes he actually said optimistic) about his writing and he got to do math today. In math he had to put different combinations of numbers together to equal 23. He said he got the most combinations because he used negative numbers!

Asher's class is a split class with both first graders and second graders. Hopefully this will give Asher a chance to do some advanced work this year. Pretty exciting!!
